Combine: 2 lbs. yellow squash pulled & cut into slices, 1 large brown onion diced, 2 T. butter, 3 cloves of garlic, salt & pepper to taste and 10 oz. of chicken broth. I like to make my own chicken broth whenever possible. Bring to a boil and boil gently 20 minutes or until all ingredients are tender. Cool and put all into a blender. This is simply delicious! This was passed on by a dear friend and is a summer favorite of mine.
